With more than 10 black business owners, the No. One Eloff building hosted the second of Afrikan Economic Restoration Day on 01 April 2023.
With 3 new businesses, Kea Health and Wellness, a dental practice and Trillion Cart Interior Designs launched and welcomed into this commercial space ready to provide their services. The day incorporated of Karaoke performances, a form of entertainment, in which people take turns to sing popular songs into a microphone over pre-recorded backing tracks.
Individuals and families, the young and the old walked up the stage and sang along to their chosen songs. More performances by Stevovoh and Vusi the poet drew the crowd into a frantic mood.
The best single karaoke performance was by young Zintle who sang Nomfundo Mo’s Phakade Lami confidently and dulcetly. And the Zizi family took home with them the family category prize as they too set the crowd in a melodic mood.
And again the day ended on a good note with black owned businesses supported as so to restore the Afrikan economy.
