On Sunday 19 May 2024, Amasosha, the Blue Nation from the different branches of The Revelation Spiritual Home welcomed Imboni Dr Uzwi-Lezwe Radebe from Italy.
Imboni received the Global Spirituality Award from Fedinsieme at an annual International Book Fair, the second largest book fair in Europe, a tradition started in 2019. This year’s edition set a record with more than 222 000 visitors in Italy’s Turin.
The city of Turin witnessed the vibrant and energetic African culture in the form of music by South Africa’s Imithente.
As the leading custodian of African Indigenous Spirituality, Imboni was selected for this award as he diligently and successfully works towards the revival in Alkebulan’s indigenous spirituality.True to his mandate and spiritual path, Imboni was welcomed with a congratulatory celebration, where Amasosha, TRSH’s structures and friends all wished Imboni their felicitations, marking the first ever reverence of African Indigenous Spirituality on a world scale.
Congratulatory messages hailed Imboni a spiritual victor who has since the emergence of his spiritual mandate stood true as an advocate for Africans to return to their authenticity. In his speech to the Blue Nation, Imboni simplified the award, ” there is a thin line between light and darkness and an individual who is truly sent with a mandate will declare this gift to the nation to show what it is that he has been mandated to do, it is only with time that external forces will attest to the authenticity of the mandate”. With that Imboni soars higher affirming the period of growth to the Blue Nation.
The celebration of the award was graced with a sonorous performance by Izinkonjane, a Isichathamiya ensemble commemorating the achievement of this award.
