On April 4, 2024, Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe flew the flag of Afrikan indigenous spirituality high at the African Union (AU) headquarters in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, following the successful signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the AU and the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) Afrika, chaired by Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe.
In attendance were Ms. El Tanany, who is the Head of Civil Society Division ; Ms. Hazel Maureen Dixon, who is the Citizen and Diaspora Directorate; and distinguished spiritual and religious leaders, amongst other prestigious guests. The signing of the MOU between the two organizations is a milestone for African indigenous spirituality. The MOU states that IAPD-Afrika, under the chairmanship of Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, is in consultative status with the AU.
The AU is a continental body consisting of the 55 member states that make up the countries of the African Continent. The aim of the AU is, but is not limited to, achieving greater unity and solidarity between African countries and their people. Defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of its Member States; accelerate the political and socio-economic integration of the continent; promote and defend African common positions on issues of interest to the continent and its peoples; and encourage international cooperation. Promote peace, security, and stability on the continent; IAPD Afrika will offer, through the spiritual guidance of Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, spiritual guidance for Afrikan political leaders. Afrikan indigenous spirituality is the antidote to the ills experienced by Afrika.
Many organisations, such as the IAPD, have worked for years to try and remedy the pains of Alkebulan with little success; furthermore, the IAPD, with all its efforts to bring peace and stability to Alkebulan, has never reached such a milestone. However, since the appointment of Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, IAPD has been making meaningful strides, and now IAPD has consultative status with AU because of the spiritual power that Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe possesses.
Moreover, it is important to take note of the spiritual revelations of Imboni. Imboni said the only cure for Alkebulan is her people embracing and accepting her spirituality. This spiritual revelation is gradually taking shape in that the founder of IAPD, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon(true mother), too stressed that the solutions to the world’s problems are in Afrika, and Marcus Garvey too pointed to Afrika as the solution to the problems of the world. The signing of the MOU is the solution Alkebulan has been needing in order to restore Alkebulan to her roots. The Blue nation is currently in the period of growth. Imboni has paved the way in that in the first week of April Imboni is already making waves.
To seal the historical moment, AU has offered to host the next Afrika day at its headquarters in Ethiopia.
