Life on earth without water means no survival, as water is a precious natural resource needed for everyday life and by every living organism.
In the forever changing world, people have moved within cycles of ways to get water, from fetching water at the river, to opening a tap, and now to having to actually buy water.
These cycles were solutions to save people from water unsafe for consumption. The evolution of tap water seemed to he a more reasonable solution as the water has been said to undergo Purification processes and make the water safer for people. Be that as it may, these have been found to actually pose a threat to the overall health of people.
Many have ventured in water supplying businesses, were water from streams, springs and other natural places under go safety procedures to prepare the water for consumption and not lead people into an early grave, however many are poverty stricken and cannot afford to buy water, so solutions have been found in boiling the water.
Many parts of South Africa are grappling with the possibility of having no water at all. The government is to issue boil water notices to South Africans following the tanking of the quality of tap water in areas affected by this issue. “The large proportion of low-risk supply systems in the Gauteng and Western Cape provinces is a positive trend which must be followed by the rest of the country to ensure effective risk management of water services provision for all citizens in the country.”
