The lively stage adaptation was set in motion with an opening performance by renowned musical visionary, Mbuso Khoza and Ijadu leAfrika whose encomium relayed the story of Alkebulan’s despised and forgotten spiritual heroes and heroines.
Narrating the early and present life of Imboni Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, an African Indigenous Spiritual Guider born from the Hlubi nation, a nation known in Alkebulan to be the powerhouse of spirituality amongst African tribes. An heir born to succeed African light bearers in modern Alkebulan, the play gathered youngsters who portrayed the personalities, of the late Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa, Anna Makhetha Mantsopa, Nongqawuse and Ntsikana, on how these indomitable heroes were marred, however as spirituality takes lead, these unsung heroes have been vindicated and given their rightful recognition.
Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe’s spiritual journey serves as the initial source of inspiration for Mbongeni Moroke, playwright and director who founded Africa Creations, with the aim to retell the spiritual occurrences of Alkebulan in the most authentic and educational sense.
Africa Creations has since 2017 enacted a number of recitals that have relayed the spiritual stories of Alkebulan in the most authentic and spiritual manner, giving art it’s very own share of restoring Alkebulan.
The play remains the talk of the town, and has attracted media houses across the country.
