On October 17th, the Dr SB Radebe Foundation hosted the 2026 Youth Career Expo in Johannesburg at the Trillion Cart Auditorium. The purpose of the career expo was to bridge the gap between students, educational institutions, and employers by providing a platform for networking, career exploration, recruitment, and raising awareness about various career paths.
The expo aimed to inform students about educational requirements and job opportunities, while giving them the chance to speak directly with recruiters to understand what employers seek. Today’s objective was also to provide information that would help students make informed decisions about their future academic and career paths, under the theme “Aligning Our Careers with Our Spiritual Purpose.”
Representatives from NSFAS, Unisa, and UJ attended the event, along with guest speakers from different industries, including healthcare, education and IT, engineering, banking and finance, and agriculture. We also welcomed a group of matriculants from Explorer Pioneers Park who were present at the event.
The program concluded with the SB Radebe Committee handing over stationery to approximately 150 students, including the matriculants.
All the best to Matriculants who will be sitting for their final exam. Remember, the world owes you nothing; you must fight for your dreams.
