King Misuzulu’s coronation postponed
Following the Floods that claimed the lives of many in KwaZulu Natal, King Misuzulu of the Zulu nation has postponed his coronation which was to happen on May 28th. The king has said that his people needed to first heal from the traumatic occurrence that left many devastated, then the coronation may commence.
The king postponing his celebration shows the true values a king holds in African culture. A king is born for the people, therefore he sacrifices and lives for the people, he can’t rejoice while his people drown in sorrow.
