On November 26, 2023A\2022G the Dr S.B Radebe Foundation hosted Day 2 of the 8th Annual Memorial Lecture at the Century City Conference Centre Emmangalisweni (Cape Town), Western Cape.

Ingonyama yama Hlubi graced the event, with amaKhosi asemaHlutshini showing that indeed in order for Africa to return to her former glory, our African Indigenous Kings need to be a part of all that is set to make that possible. Amongst the great presence of Amasosha, The Blue Nation was Miss Abigail Kubheka, Miss Nandi Nyembe, Dr ZuluMathabo Zulu, Mrs Nwabisa Gxothiwe, her Excellency Madam Thobeka Madiba-Zuma, Nontsikelelo Mazwai and Rev. Reverend Camara shared how honored they are with the UPF delegation to have been a part of the Memorial Lecture of Mr Mzuvukile Slabbert Steve Radebe. “.. a great hero who gave birth to the great son of Africa” were reverend’s words as he ascended the podium to share his speech.

Keynote speaker, Imboni Dr UZwi-Lezwe Radebe spoke of 4 important things on the theme of the event, The Power of Unity as Africans. “African people are very accommodative, and we never want to be taken for advantage. We love other others, and such events are not to speak ill of other races and religions, but we need to highlight the causes of what we have turned out to be. It is time that we love ourselves”, said Dr Radebe.

The speakers shared knowledge and wisdom Imboni Dr uZwi-leZwe Radebe had already taught Amasosha, this certifying the broad purity and sacredness of African Spirituality founded not on ideologies of people, but a pure spiritual foundation. Dr Lloyiso Nqevu who unapologetically raised the fact of the existence of Imboni spoke on how Africa will return to her former glory by listening to Africa’s very own Voice of the Nation in the current era.

Dr Khanyile Litchfiled Tshabalala confidently stood by Africans being true to who they are. She shared her journey of transcending from Christianity to African Spirituality. Emotional, yet true to her word Dr Litchfield Tshabalala spoke on the damage colonialism caused not only in Africa but in Europe as well.

UMkhulu Nsingiza spoke of how rich South Africa is in minerals and resources, but poor because it is still subject to the British Empire. “we are the spirit first before we are physical and we are immortal” continued uMkhulu.

Dr ZuluMathabo Zulu, Mrs Nwabisa Gxothiwe and her Excellency Madam Thobeka Madiba-Zuma signed a pledge committing themselves to be custodians behind Imboni Dr UZwi-Lezwe Radebe to advocate for and succeed the restoration of Africans in the current era. “Africanism contains balance and does not need for people who are weak in thinking. The relationships formed by these individual organizations defeats working in silos, we need to come together to shape the way forward”, said Imboni Dr uZwi LeZwe Radebe as they toasted to the formation of the new relationships.

An ebullient performance by Mlindo the Vocalist shook the crowd giving them a show of an amazing stream of the songs known loved by many South Africans.
