On Friday 26 July 2024, Amasosha from different parts of the world gathered Ekuphumuleni, Ekhaya Khulu in Free State’s Clocolan for their annual spiritual pilgrimage to renew and others to start their covenant of restoration which was established in 2008 by Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe.
Amongst the Blue nation were, Inkosi uHlangalezwe of the BaThethwa Kingdom, Prince Thulani Zulu, Induna Fakude and Princess Nomalanga from Eswatini who too were here to revive their covenant in African (Alkebulan) Indigenous Spirituality.
On arrival, Amasosha joined Inkosi Yomoya, Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe for an ultimate spiritual meditation atop the mountain. The practice of meditation here was to help maintain a healthy mental state for Amasosha, as we live in a stressful world where some individuals are always overwhelmed by tension and others are submerged in despair. The meditation was aimed at refocusing the mind to a more positive direction. It was at this moment that Amasosha asserted mental fortitude to face any difficulty and to rise beyond it.
Amasosha ascended Intaba Ephendulayo, where the great Deity, Isithunywa uMabizw’asabele resides, Amasosha also visited the sacred ancestral home, the Sudanese Queen’s pyramid and the great Ikhaya Khulu where they implored the spirit world entities to give them strength. The visits to these scared spaces was to pray, make requests and report to the spirit world entities in their respective spaces, as it is known that Ekuphumuleni is a sacred site providing escape for the displaced individuals that make their way here every year.
Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe was welcomed by Amasosha from Lesotho, who honoured Imboni, “We are grateful to have found an institution that has helped us embrace our spiritual identity, as the descendants of Imbonikazi Nkhono Mantsopa we will forever walk in Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe’s footsteps” , they expressed. The many tribes that make up TRSH’s Traditional Affairs (TA) group thanked Imboni for the impact Imboni’s revelation spiritual teachings has had on them and they expressed gratitude for helping them embrace their group’s uniqueness while eradicating tribalism.
From Ireland, Sithabile Sibanda expressed her gratitude to Imboni as she took Amasosha through her journey from struggling to make ends meet and finding her way to success as she now resides in Ireland running a successful business, one she acquired from being loyal to Isithunywa Esikhulu, uMabizw’asabele.Both young and elderly from countries and provinces where TRSH branches exist gathered to express their gratitude to Imboni for providing them with spiritual guidance, as everyone of them has personally benefited from TRSH under Imboni’s guidance. “We are proud Africans to under Imboni’s guidance with no fear nor regret of the path we have taken as Imboni has resuscitated us after years of being uprooted from our identity” said the leaders from different TRSH branches.
Abofakazi Abaziyo, a group that has witnessed Imboni’s spiritual journey and been the witnesses of the establishment of the covenant of restoration stand strong behind Imboni as they pronounced their loyalty to Imboni and the spiritual journey of restoration, as they presented a book that speaks on how to serve Iimboni Zakwantu. During the night vigil service Imboni implored the spirit guides to protect Amasosha under the covenant and invoked the spiritual entities to give Amasosha strength.
Furthermore, Imboni Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe relayed the revelation spiritual teachings, The Revival of the Spiritual Revelation, is the Giving of Life to the Nation and the Individual moreover directing Amasosha to be certain of their spiritual identity and what they follow in spirituality. “Africans lost their identity and many have sought an identity in foreign places so that they fit in however we, Amasosha have regained our identity, where it is time that we love ourselves as we have hated ourselves for years.
The covenant of restoration is made by people who know their spiritual identity…”, imparted Inkosi Yomoya. Various artists showcased their talents in music as they relayed Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe’s revelation spiritual teachings in different genres, showing the impact that these teachings have in their lives.
This year’s pilgrimage was broadcast on South African news platforms.
