All roads lead to Emazweni (KwaZulu Natal) this Saturday, October 28, 2024(ASC) where the Dr SB Radebe Foundation will be commemorating the 2nd Isikhumbuzo sika Gogo Siphokazi Winnet Mbiza at the Olive Convention Centre, in Durban.
The first of this event was celebrated in 2023, under the theme, “The Role of a Women in Parenting”, where women came together to deliberate about the roles women carry in parenting, which attracted many women whose influence and power was invigorated. The foundation will be recognizing the prolific and revolutionary influence of women, as well as the tenacity they have consistently shown in their unique trajectories, this year under the theme, “Honouring Women of Power and the Positive Impact their Journey Provides.”
The event will be graced by the presence of prominent women from various walks of life whose rise to power is testament to breaking down barriers and paving the way for progress, whose dynamic journeys have not only shaped their destinies, but have positively influenced many others, proving that gender should not be a limitation and, in fact, is not.
Not only will this auspicious event honour the power of women, but will also launch the Entrepreneurial Women Empowerment programme, which the launch recognises women’s capabilities in the pivotal role they can play in contributing to South Africa’s economy.
