January 17, 2026 marked a historic and momentous occasion as scholars, religious leaders, spiritual leaders, and diplomats gathered on an international platform to witness and participate in an event of profound significance for African Indigenous Spirituality, at the HJ International Graduate School for Peace and Public Leadership in the United States of America, New York City.

The events surrounding the journey to the United States were marked by extraordinary signs. At TRSH’s Headquarters in Johannesburg, on the very day HRSM Dr. Uzwi Lezwe Radebe journeyed to the United States, a profound sign manifested: all flags hanging on the façade of Ebhubesini were folded, leaving only the flags of South Africa and the United States of America hanging open. This moment signalled alignment, purpose, and the unfolding of a greater mission beyond borders.

What followed in the United States further confirmed that this journey was not ordinary, but divinely marked;

The RSA & USA flags hanging open while other countries’ flags were rolled closed

The gathering centred on the publication The Revelation Spiritual Home, authored by Dr Massimo Introvigne and Rosita Šorytė and published by Cambridge University Press.

The book, which has been displayed at the Boston Academy, has generated overwhelming interest and is officially sold out across the United States of America. Its reception affirmed a growing global acknowledgement of African Indigenous Spirituality as a living, evolving spiritual system rather than a relic of the past.

The Book is available for purchase on Amazon in hardcopy and on Cambridge University Press in softcopy.

Reverend Damien Dunkley described Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya as a pure-hearted man whose leadership is guided by obedience and a deeper mandate to serve.

He highlighted Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya’s calling to uncover and restore the ancient spiritual wisdom of the African continent, noting that the publication represents a significant shift in how African Indigenous Spirituality is understood. It was stressed that the work is not intended for hostile minds, but for those willing to listen and engage sincerely.

The authors spoke deeply about their scholarly and personal experiences with His Royal Spiritual Majesty Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, Founder of The Revelation Spiritual Home (TRSH).

Rosita Šorytė later took to the podium and offered a brief yet powerful account of Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya’s early life, his introduction into spiritual service, and the journey that led to the establishment of The Revelation Spiritual Home. From its beginnings, TRSH has grown into a structured and expanding spiritual order.

Rosita Šorytė

On January 1st 2020, Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya was introduced Dr Massimo Introvigne through a revelation during a visit to Esibonakalisweni in Emazweni (Durban, KwaZulu-Natal). This sacred sea, where matters of national and spiritual importance are revealed, marked the beginning of a journey that would later culminate in the publication being celebrated.

Dr Massimo Introvigne addressed scholars with precision, urging them to recognise that African Indigenous Spirituality has long been approached with inadequate analytical tools.

He emphasised that African Indigenous Spirituality is not an object nor an archaeological artefact, but a living voice that speaks through nature. It is not awaiting academic validation; it is alive, evolving, and demands serious and respectful engagement.

Dr. Massimo Introvigne

Congratulatory messages from religious leaders were read, acknowledging the importance of the occasion and recognising Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya’s contribution to spiritual restoration and interfaith understanding.

When HRSM ascended the podium, he revealed that he had received a spiritual instruction in the early hours of the morning at 01:27, guiding him regarding the day’s proceedings. Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya described The Revelation Spiritual Home as a principled work that defines Africa and her people for who they truly are, offering clarity on African Indigenous Spirituality as a revealed and living reality rather than a scripted construct. Affirming that the publication is liberating Africa, her people, and the African ancestors.Following his address, the atmosphere was marked by reverence and acknowledgement of the historical weight of the moment.

HRSM’s reflections laid the foundation for the formal recognition that followed, as the programme then proceeded to the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate in Sacred Theology (Honoris Causa) by the HJ International Graduate School for Peace and Public Leadership, an institution founded in 1975 with more than 1,700 graduates. A Citation of Meritorious Achievement was formally read, acknowledging Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya as a prominent leader of The Revelation Spiritual Home and a foremost advocate for African Indigenous Spirituality.

The citation noted that TRSH has grown to more than 80 spiritual centres across the SADC region, Ireland, and the United States of America.

His Royal Spiritual Majesty Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe

“I stand here representing Africa and our ancestors.” said Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya after receiving the honorary doctrate. He described the present time, the Age of Aquarius, an era of awakening and questioning, where humanity is being called to re-examine truth, history, and spiritual identity.Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya reflected that, for the first time in his experience, an African was being honoured for who he truly is, not for assimilation or compromise.

Furthermore Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya acknowledged the work of Mother Han, noting her collaboration with Western institutions in uplifting Africa, and shared that he had been honoured twice for championing African Indigenous Spirituality in Italy for the Global Spirituality Award and in Korea for the Sunhak Peace Prize.

Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya emphasised that the occasion was not merely about honouring one man, but about recognising a nation and a continent that has endured centuries of oppression. Africa, he said, has enriched the world with knowledge, wisdom, and minerals, yet has often been mischaracterised and despised.

Inkosi yamaKhosi oMoya expressed deep gratitude to the HJ International Graduate School for Peace and Public Leadership and announced a forthcoming partnership with the Mzuvukile Institution, aimed at advancing education rooted in substance and spirituality. He cautioned against education that is purely intellectual yet spiritually empty, stating that earthly knowledge without spiritual richness lacks depth and direction.

The day concluded as a powerful affirmation that African Indigenous Spirituality is not only enduring, but rising, guiding, and reclaiming its rightful place within global spiritual, academic, and cultural discourse.

Indeed it is time for Africans to embrace their true identity. Inkosi yamakhosi omoya is leading us, we are witnessing him reap the fruits of staying true to his authentic identity.
There is no need to assimilate other nations identities when we have our own African Spirituality, which is as old as time itself.

When there’s alignment, there’s nothing that will block things.
The South African and USA flag spoke to prove that spirituality is alive and active. Siyabonga Bhungane kaNsele mthimkhulu ngokwamukela ingulo yakho…

From humble beginnings to now being honoured with a Doctorate in Sacred Theology in the United States of America, who could have imagined this journey?

Who would have thought that indigenous African spirituality, once misunderstood and marginalised, would today be recognised on a global stage? Who could deny that a lifetime of spiritual leadership, wisdom, discipline, and service to humanity deserves such historic honour?

Dr. Imboni Uzwi Lezwe Radebe’s Honorary Doctorate is not just a personal achievement, is it not a victory for African spirituality.

Today we celebrate more than a title; we celebrate legacy, impact, and divine calling fulfilled. Congratulations on this monumental and well-deserved honour.
