On August 20th 2022, Misuzulu kaZwelithini was officially crowned King in kwaKhangelamankengane Royal Palace in kwaNongoma, KwaZulu-Natal.
The coronation was initially supposed to take place in May 2022, however was postponed following alleged disputes. Thousands of people – among them royal families, traditional and political leaders from different countries attended this remarkable gathering.
King Misuzulu kaZwelithini ascended the throne after the ascension of Queen Regent Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu (Mother to the king) on 29 April 2021.
Imboni Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, a certified African Indigenous Spiritual Guider, founder and leader of The Revelation Spiritual Home was revealed of Isilo. Isilo attested to the proverb, ” an apple does not fall far from the tree” as Isilo followed in the footsteps of the Zulu Kingdom’s greatest ancestor (King Shaka kaSenzangakhona) who sought guidance from King Bhungane( Imboni’s ancestor).
King Misuzulu kaZwelithini acknowledged Imboni ephethe isibane sezwe (the nation’s light bearer) and heeded the call, showing that Isilo respects Spiritual hierarchy.
Imboni is also a Spiritual Advisor to King Langalibalele II of the AmaHlubi Tribe. The Royal houses acknowledgment of Inkosi yoMoya (Spiritual King) fulfils the mandate of returning to Indigenous Africa protocol. One would not be too far off in thinking that King Misuzulu kaZwelithini acknowledging and respecting Imboni played a huge role in the coronation of the King becoming a success. Congratulations to the Zulu Nation on the successful coronation.
Long live the King
Still unbelievable that Spiritual hierarchy in the African context is still looked as a farce. LiXesha ukuthi umoya athetha kwaye kwenzeke okuqunyiweyo nguMdali nezithunywa. Zulu!
