On May 25th, 2024, South Africa witnessed a momentous event as Prince Melizwe Mthethwa kaMagiya weNdlov’edlofakazi was crowned at the Cecil Emmet Sports Ground in Vryheid.
In attendance were Amasosha, The Blue Nation, UPF delegation as well as different royal houses.

This historic event, officiated by Inkosi Yomoya Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe, signified a profound re-enactment of ancient Alkebulan spiritual traditions that have shaped the continent’s history. The coronation was not merely a ceremonial ritual; it was a powerful reaffirmation of the spiritual and cultural practices that have long defined Alkebulan traditional leadership.

The Journey to the Coronation began on March 17, 2024, during the Sunday service at The Revelation Spiritual Home, where Inkosi Yomoya announced having to pass isivumelwano sembuyiselo to Prince Melizwe at Ekuphumuleni. This act symbolized the sacred bond between Imboni’s spiritual deity, Umabizwa’Asabele, and his devoted followers.Inkosi Yomoya then led Prince Melizwe to Entabeni Ephendulayo, where they performed spiritual rituals throughout the night. Following Inkosi Yomoya’s instruction, Prince Melizwe received Isivumelwano sobukhosi.
During the service, Inkosi Yomoya recounted Prince Melizwe’s transformative journey. Initially hesitant to embrace his royal duties, Prince Melizwe found guidance at Imboni’s spiritual institution in 2017 and officially became umntwana wekhaya on June 19, 2022.
Under Inkosi Yomoya’s tutelage, Prince Melizwe embraced revelation teachings, ultimately becoming spiritually prepared to fulfill his kingship responsibilities. This narrative highlighted Prince Melizwe’s commitment to his destiny and his journey towards spiritual readiness.

King Hlangalezwe Mthethwa swore in his loyalty after Inkosi yoMoya officiated the coronation, certifying the then prince as the reigning king of the Abathethwa nation. “May I forever walk in the path of Inkosi yoMoya Imboni Dr uZwi-Lezwe Radebe. I hope to stay close without falling behind him. When the guides talked to me, they cautioned that if I were to turn my back on uBhungane, I would meet my end. Should I forsake the spiritual light and fail to prioritize it above all else, I would ultimately perish; my spirit guides would not accept me in the spirit realm since I would have neglected my purpose. I cannot undertake this journey alone as long as the magnificent Blue Nation exists.”
