June 26, uMholi Zangwa, Chief of the house of Traditional Affairs announced 31 July to be Bhungane Day.
This day is to celebrate King Bhungane II of the amaHlubi tribe and Imboni uZwi-Lezwe Radebe as King Bhungane’s descendant.
The day was regarded by the Traditional Affairs office noting that, there are no days to commemorate African spiritual leaders, who are of important significance to African Spirituality and Africanism, also to show Africans that, it is time they stop celebrating their Afrocentric leaders after they crossover to the spirit world, but to honour and respect them while they still live and guide in the phyical world.
The first celebration of Bhungane Day will happen at Ekuphumuleni mountain, on July 31 2022, accompanying the first celebration of following the African calendar.

To give flowers to uMzali whilst they alive ,is another way of securing ,blessing to that nation .
As we give honor to the greatest Bhungane and descendant, its living a blue print as well as historical.
