On the 29th of April 2023, Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe “SAVINGS AND ENTREPRENUERSHIP” hits the number one best seller mark on his first international signing for his second children’s book at Exclusive Books stores in Gaborone, Botswana.
The book signing was attended by more than 100 children from different parts of Botswana who wanted to have their book autographed by the author.
“I am so happy to have hosted Imboni Dr. uZwi-Lezwe Radebe; we saw kids coming in interested in the book, and I think that this is the way to go if we want to educate our kids and have them on the right track, especially regarding money matters.” Said Mompati Seretsi, the store manager at Exclusive Book Stores in Gaborone.
The book sold out the moment it hit the shelves. “This is a first for us to receive so much attention and have a book sell out the moment it is placed on the book shelves.” Said Seretsi
The book “Savings and Entrepreneurship” was inspired by Trillion Dollar Kids (TDK), a children’s club that is focused on financial literacy in a bid to address the socio-economic challenges experienced in African communities. Furthermore, TDK aims to assist with the challenge of black people having a bad relationship with money and saving and investing to create generational wealth.
“Savings and Entrepreneurship” is a book that will assist young children in beginning their journey to savings, becoming aspiring entrepreneurs, and moving away from the norm of wanting to be employees as opposed to employers.
The book is currently available at exclusive book stores nationwide.
